This registry alerts emergency responders to a resident's address and gives them the vital information they need to better meet the resident's needs.

Practice: County-wide voluntary registration to assist emergency management personnel in identifying persons with special needs during emergencies.

Okanogan County, Washington

Brief Description: Once registered, individuals who would require assistance in the event of an emergency can get advice and evacuation assistance in the event of a natural or man-made disaster as well as preauthorization of emergency personnel to enter into home during an emergency.
